My second wild Orang Utan (Pongo pygmaeus) sighting, one of a group of three at Gomantong Caves.
Simud Hitam cave entrance, Gomantong Caves. Home to 2.5 million bats and 1 million Swiftlets!
Inside Sumud Hitam cave.
The Kinabatangan river, dirty with sediment from logging coupes upstream.
Wildlife Adventures river lodge, Sukau.
At the start of our adventure up the Menangol river.
A male Pig-tailed Macaque (Macaca nemestrina).
Freshwater turtle (Notochelys platynota) sunbaking!
Long-tailed Macaque (Macaca fasicularis) kicking back in his lounge chair!

 Jackpot! A pair of Silver Langurs (Presbytis cristata) with a baby (orange tail).
 Sunrise on the Kinabatangan river.
 Pied hornbill.
Snake bird in flight on the Ox Bow lakes.
Malaysian Fly-catcher on it's nest.
Inqisitive lizard.
The curse of Sabah. Giant dipterocarp logs float by on the Kinabatangan.
 "Primate watching" at Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary, although I don't know who is watching who!
Hitching a ride.
Which one should I eat first?
Dropping in on feeding time.
Wise old eyes survey the scene.
A large and aggressive Pig-tailed Macaque (Macaca nemestrina) moments before he lunged at me!
Sheltering under Mum's protection.
Overwhelmed by the whole situation.
